Project Description
Originally acting for the client and subsequently retained by the contractor Chris Maltby led the planning process from the outset undertaking a detailed and collaborative pre-application process involving extensive consultation with the local planning authority, local residents, and other stakeholders. The proposals sought to replace an existing 1960’s office building on a historic site that contained a Grade II listed Mansion House located within the Chalk Farm Conservation Area. Planning permission was secured for a contemporary and highly sustainable building that responded positively to the surrounding heritage assets and complemented its parkland setting. Following the securing of planning permission, Chris was appointed by the contractor to discharge all conditions and manage the planning process through to the completion of the project.
