Oldfield Primary School, Maidenhead

Following extensive pre-application public engagement, a detailed planning application and Environmental Impact Assessment was submitted for a new primary school on a Green Belt site on the edge of Maidenhead. Other constraints included part of the site being in Flood Zone 3 and bordering a SSSI as well as highways related matters. Overcoming significant objection and initial concerns from the Environment Agency planning permission was secured for a new flood resilient and exemplary school building.
